Committee proposes action to end corporal punishment in 8 more States

At the end of its 29th session in February 2002, the Committee on the Rights of the Child issued concluding observations on the reports it had examined from eight more states: Andorra, Bahrain, Gabon, Greece, Lebanon, Malawi, Chile and Mozambique; in each case it proposed action to end corporal punishment.
