Global Initiative e-newsletter Issue 11 (March 2010)

The latest edition of the Global Initiative e-newsletter is now available. It includes news of draft laws in parliaments which would prohibit all corporal punishment, including by parents, and news of progress in prohibiting corporal punishment in schools in many states. There is also information about the latest recommendations and decisions of human rights treaty monitoring bodies, new research reports and a selection of media coverage of the issue.
