Anppcan Kenya celebrates "No Kiboko Day" as part of the international No Hitting Day, on 30th April every year. No Kiboko Day is run by children and young people from the children's parliament and young officials. For No Kiboko Day, Anppcan Kenya run awareness-raising campaigns, when children, parents and teachers talk about corporal punishment. They want to tell adults that violence sends the wrong message to children and that violence begets violence, so it is very important to involve children and young people in resolving conflicts in a non-violent manner.

They use a different slogan every year. Here are some of them:

"Hitting people is wrong and children are people too."

"10 ways of raising children without the cane."

"Creating a kiboko-free society."

"Raise disciplined children - end all forms of violence against children."
