Welcome to our campaign to ban all corporal punishment of children
Global Initiative to End all Corporal Punishment of Children - a site for young people
Welcome to our campaign to end all corporal punishment of children.
Most people think that violence against children is wrong and that laws should be made to stop it. But many people think that it’s OK for adults to use physical violence as a way to punish or ‘discipline’ children. When adults hit or hurt children to punish them, it is called corporal punishment.
All over the world, children, young people and adults are working to end corporal punishment and make sure that children are protected from all kinds of violence.
This website will tell you more about what they are doing.
